We have posted the finished version of our thriller with annotations throughout explaining how we made it. Pre production Whats app = a group chat that was used to help with the production of the thriller. Imessage = to make a group chat and get the ideas for sound on it. Email = to send the soundtrack from matts computer to allow us to hear it and see if we liked the track. Facetime = aidan and i used facetime to call about the masks the robbers were going to wear and talk about where we were going to buy them. Google docs = share information and allow the group to see our notes. Our Target Audience In order to find out and research what age our target audience is, we carried out a questionnaire and asked different people of all ages. As our film would be at least a 15, we decided we would ask a range from 15 - 50 year olds, male and female. We came up with 15 questions to ask each person that would help generalise what different people watch and their preferences. Here are the questions:  How old are you? How often do you watch movies? What are your favourite genre? Could you give examples?  Do you like thrillers? (unless thrillers is fav genre) Why? To you like a complicated narrative or a straight forward narrative, ie. a story that unfolds or where you have to work out what s going on? Top 5 films? who’s your favourite actor? What do you think about female leads? How would you typical watch a new film? i.e. cinema dvd or stream? Do you like or dislike or neural to a romantic interest a film...

How have you represented your social group with Mise-en-scene, camera, sound and editing In this essay I will be exploring how the Mise-en-Scene, camera, sound and editing were used to represent social groups in my thriller. More specifically gender and ethnicity. My opening scene contains themes of betrayal, crime and death so incorporating different aspects of my chosen social classes through mies-en-scene, camera, sound and editing was generally a challenge.  For gender, we used the miss-en-scene to hide the characters gender through costumes. All characters wore masks and this was for two reasons. It fitted the scene and gave context to the scene as it made indications that they had robbed a bank. However we also used masks to hide the genders of the characters so at the end when the main character takes off her mask it’s almost a surprise and the fact that she's not a man shocks the audience.
